What's the difference between an Activity and a Tour?
Activities are for workshops, classes, and scheduled daily operations — capacity management, flexible scheduling, and real-time inventory across one or many locations. Tours are for complex itineraries with multiple destinations, built with the drag & drop builder and reusable components, including accommodation and transport logistics.
Do I need a website to start selling?
No. Every experience you publish gets a booking page and appears on the Zuru Marketplace automatically. If you already have a website, you can embed the booking widget alongside it.
How much commission does Zuru take on bookings?
Zero. Zuru charges a flat subscription — Basic is free forever — and takes 0% commission on your bookings. You keep what you earn, minus your payment gateway's own processing fees.
How do payments reach me?
You connect your own payment gateway to Zuru, so funds settle directly into your account. Travellers can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, EFT, and buy-now-pay-later options.
Can I manage capacity and time slots per departure?
Yes. Set operating days, time slots, buffer times between departures, and per-slot capacity caps. Availability updates live across your booking page and the marketplace as bookings come in.
Can I sell to international travellers?
Yes. Zuru supports multiple currencies and built-in translation, so travellers browse and pay in a way that feels local to them.
How long does it take to get set up?
Most operators publish their first experience the same day. Create a free account, add your experience details, pricing, and availability, then connect a payment gateway to go live.
